Bayer Leverkusen moved three points clear at the top of the Bundesliga
for now at least, but were made to sweat against Wolfsburg at the
BayArena this afternoon.
Stefan Reinartz put the home team ahead in the 48th minute before
an own goal from the luckless Andre Lenz doubled their advantage
in the 68th minute.
A goal from Edin Dzeko 10 minutes from time had Leverkusen panicking,
but they managed to hold on to the three points which take them
clear at the top of the Bundesliga ahead of Bayern Munich's clash
with Borussia Dortmund later this evening.
