Juventus' winless streak extended to five games as bitter rivals
Fiorentina held them to a draw in Turin.
Juan Manuel Vargas gave La Viola an early lead but Amauri equalised
for Juventus before the 20-minute mark in an evenly-contested game.
Ciro Ferrara's side lost 2-0 to Palermo before the international
break and they made a miserable start as the Serie A campaign resumed
as Peruvian wing-back Vargas put Fiorentina in front in the fifth
minute.
Montenegro forward Stevan Jovetic provided an excellent assist
and Vargas fired low into the left corner of Gianluigi Buffon's
goal.
The equaliser came in the 19th minute, Iaquinta turning provider
from the left to set Brazil-born striker Amauri up for a simple
tap-in.
