Gonzalo Higuain netted a brace as Real Madrid overcame battling
Athletic Bilbao, 3-2, in a fiery encounter at the Bernabeu to record
their sixth league win of the season.
Madrid looked to be cruising at 2-0 following early goals from Wesley
Sneijder and Higuain, but Athletic stunned the Spanish champions by
drawing level through Joseba Etxeberria and Andoni Iroala.
