A second-half brace from Bojan Krkic gave Barcelona a hard-fought
2-0 win at Almeria and saw the Catalans restore their six-point lead
at the top of the Primera Liga.
The young striker was handed a rare start up front and repaid coach
Pep Guardiola with two clinical strikes early in the second half as
Barcelona continued their recent good form.
Having beaten Athletic Bilbao 2-0 last weekend, Barca thrashed
Lyon 5-2 on Wednesday night to qualify for the quarter-finals of
the Champions League.
Guardiola decided to rest strikers Samuel Eto'o and Thierry Henry
following their exertions in that match.
And that meant a second league start of the season for Bojan.
In the absence of Henry, Andres Iniesta was promoted to the left-hand
side of Barca's three-pronged attack.
