Samuel Eto'o scored twice as Barcelona cruised to a 10th consecutive
Primera Liga win and restored their 12-point lead at the top of the
table with a 3-1 victory over Sporting Gijon.
The Cameroon striker gave Pep Guardiola's side the lead with a simple
finish after 24 minutes and added a second shortly before the break
as the league leaders brushed aside Sporting Gijon with relative ease
at the Nou Camp.
Dani Alves then put the Catalans three up after 65 minutes, before
Kike Mateo grabbed a consolation for the visitors.
