Barcelona moved 10 points clear at the top of the Primera Liga after
coming from behind to beat Villarreal 2-1 at El Madrigal.
Following a goalless first half, Cani gave Villarreal the lead just
after the restart.
But Seydou Keita and Thierry Henry hit back to give the Catalans
a crucial win in their last match before the winter break, meaning
Pep Guardiola's side will take an extraordinary 10-point lead into
the 18th round of the championship, which resumes in January.
Gerard Pique was sent off late on, but Barcelona survived a wave
of Villarreal attacks to sit pretty in the league table at the end
of 2008.
