This action packed programme examines in detail the success of Liverpool FC in the 80's. The glorious 80's saw Liverpool win almost every footballing honour available both at home and abroad, with trophy after trophy finding their way to Anfield.

The Makers of the programme have invited a panel of ex-Liverpool professionals (including John Aldridge, Graeme Souness and Mark Lawrenson) to use their personal knowledge of the club and their ex-colleagues to nominate the ultimate Liverpool team of the 80's.

Using action packed film footage the panel discuss and demonstrate the strenghts and weaknesses of their former colleagues ad they work their way through the long list of candidates. finally after much, often humorous, discussion the five ex-pro's select their Liverpool team of the 80's - but who would you select, and - just as difficult, a question - who would you leave out?
